At Sunshine Home Health and Hospice, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, end-of-life care to patients and their families. We are currently seeking a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and serve patients living in the Cache Valley area.

Position Overview:

As a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (YOU MUST BE CERTIFIED FOR THIS POSITION) at Sunshine Home Health and Hospice, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to terminally ill patients. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients are comfortable, safe, and receive the highest quality of care during their final journey. If you are a compassionate and dedicated individual with a desire to provide comfort and support to those in need, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate and patient-centered care to hospice patients in their homes or in our hospice facility.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by the hospice nurse or medical team.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition, symptoms, and vital signs.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Collaborate with the hospice care team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Utah.
