New Psalmist Baptist Church is seeking an exceptional Executive Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and serve as a trusted partner in advancing the church's mission of faith, excellence, and community service.
This full-time position plays a vital role in supporting executive leadership, coordinating key initiatives, and ensuring the efficient operation of church administration. This is more than an administrative role-it is an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic ministry that touches lives every day.
What You'll Do
As the Executive Administrative Assistant supporting the Chief Operating Officer, you will:
  • Manage executive calendars, appointments, and meeting schedules.
  • Prepare professional correspondence, reports, presentations, and ministry communications.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, special events, conferences, and ministry initiatives.
  • Maintain confidential records and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.
  • Serve as a welcoming point of contact for staff, ministry leaders, members, and community partners.
  • Assist with project management, follow-up, and executive priorities.
  • Support church-wide communications and administrative operations.
  • Help create seamless experience for the Chief Operating Officer, leadership team, staff, and guests.
