Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Angular Developer 3 is focused on the development, maintenance, and support of application systems to ensure stability, reliability, and continued enhancement for the user community. This position recognizes problems as they occur and addresses those issues. This role will technically lead and mentor other developers to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions.
This is an onsite position, based in Springfield, Missouri.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Serves as a contributor and member to project teams in the applications area.
  • Researches problems to determine the cause and determine effective approaches for resolution.
  • Completes administration tasks, such as status reporting and documentation.
  • Creates technical documentation and diagrams to support application analysis and design.
  • Participates in formal and informal code reviews, assists team members, and works with QA teams to support quality assurance efforts.
  • Performs analysis and design for programs and learns and adapts to new applications, languages, and techniques.
  • Communicates with business users to identify improvements, support day-to-day operations, and document technical solutions.
  • Provides on-call support as needed.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree
  • Certificate(s) or License(s): A certificate of training or expert in one of the systems supported is preferred
  • Experience: 4+ years

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
  • Passion for software development and continuous improvement
  • Advanced experience with Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS (React or Node.js a plus)
  • Experience building reusable Angular components, services, and scalable front-end architectures
  • Strong understanding of modern web architecture, REST APIs, application performance, and responsive design
  • Experience designing and developing scalable, maintainable web applications
  • Experience using Agentic AI tools and AI-assisted development workflows to improve productivity and software quality
  • Experience with GitHub for version control and CI/CD (GitHub Actions or similar)
  • Familiarity with Docker, DevOps practices, and deployment automation
  • Strong knowledge of Java/Spring Boot and SQL preferred
  • Experience mentoring developers and contributing to technical design decisions and architecture decisions
  • Experience working in Agile environments using tools like Jira (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver complex solutions
  • Retail industry experience preferred

  • 0-25%

  • Occasional walking, standing, and lifting
