DevOps Engineer
TITLE: DevOps Engineer

DUTIES: Architect and manage comprehensive cloud solutions to automate creation and scaling of secure and resilient cloud infrastructures. Develop, configure, and optimize end-to-end Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines. Script pipeline tasks, integrate automated testing, and deploy applications across multiple environments to support seamless code transitions from development to production. Write and maintain scripts in Python and other shell scripting languages to automate operations tasks. Develop tools to automate infrastructure management tasks. Utilize configuration management tools and practices to maintain control over changes and configurations of software and systems. Implement monitoring solutions. Ensure infrastructure security by implementing strategies using AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) for secure access controls. Comply with GDPR, HIPAA, or other regulatory standards, using automation to enforce policies and audit compliance. Collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT professionals to optimize the software development lifecycle. Provide technical guidance to enhance tool integration and workflow automation. Lead initiatives to adopt new technologies that drive innovation and efficiency improvements within the company. Design and implement disaster recovery plans, test disaster response strategies to guarantee business continuity; and lead research and development initiatives to test and implement new technologies to enhance operational efficiencies and product innovation. Prepare feasibility reports and lead pilot projects for technology adoption.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving experience using Infrastructure as Code and CloudFormation. Prior experience must include: 4 years of scripting in Python, Bash, and Shell; 3 years coding with Java and Spring Boot; 1 year coding with NodeJS and React; Working with build and deployment tools, CI/CD, GIT, Gitlab, Maven, JIRA, Confluence, YAML and JSON; Working with cryptographic authentication methods including HMAC, OAuth, Certificates or Tokenization.
TRAVEL: 10% national travel required for business meetings.
