Job description

The Role As Head of Marketing, you get the keys to our entire brand. You will set the strategy, create the content, run the channels, and work side by side with the CEO to make Parkville Market impossible to ignore. This is a high-energy, high-impact role with real freedom to create. You will team up with every part of the business. From our food vendors and bar operator to events and community partners, you will build the plan that takes our growth to the next level. Bring your big ideas. We want to see them come to life. What You'll Do  Develop and execute a marketing plan that meets our growth and revenue goals.  Manage our social media presence across all platforms, including planning, posting, and audience growth.  Lead the marketing and promotion of our events, driving attendance and engagement for both recurring programming and special occasions.  Create content from start to finish, including graphics, short-form video, and campaigns.  Track and report on metrics across all marketing and advertising, with regular updates to the CEO.  Promote our vendors and their businesses alongside the Parkville Market brand.  Support the bar program through targeted promotion and event-driven traffic.  Collaborate across every sector of the business to maintain a consistent and professional brand voice.  Contribute fresh, creative ideas that strengthen our presence in the market.  Work in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and you adapt to changes.  Manage and enhance SEO for our website. What You Bring to the Table  3-5+ years of marketing experience. Preferably in hospitality, food + beverage, or entertainment industry.  Strong technical expertise with marketing and content creation tools, including Canva, CapCut, and all major social media platforms.  Proficiency in producing polished graphics and engaging short-form video.  A track record of leading real marketing or social media projects that grew an audience.  A creative, entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to test new ideas.  The ability to set strategy and then execute it hands-on.  Strong ownership, with the discipline to set targets and measure your own results.  A collaborative style that connects with everyone, from small vendors to the CEO. Here is the best part on experience: we care way more about what you have done than how long you have done it. You do not need a long resume. You just need to show us you can lead a project and grow an audience.
