Job Description

FIELD ENGINEERING MANAGER
Make meaningful contributions that fuel critical outcomes for some of the most complex government, defense, and intelligence projects. Join GDIT as a Field Engineering Manager for a career where your growth is just as important as the mission you support.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Field Engineering Manager, the work youll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of multiple VLS Customers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring MK 41 VLS equipment is maintained and tested to the stringent VLS requirements to maintain US National Security.
Lead over 15 direct reports in the day to day operations of the VLS production.
Collaborate with GDIT departments such as Quality Assurance, Security, Weld Shop, Painting Shop and outside vendors/subcontractors
Drive schedules and manage the work force to successfully meet multiple contract milestones.
Utilize VLS System Maintenance Technician to enusre must current and correct VLS poliocies and procedures are being followed.
WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring yourVLS SMT expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Field Engineering Manager must have:
Education: Bachelor of Science
Experience: 5+ years of related experience
Security clearance level: Secret
US citizenship required
Role requirements: Maintain a active and fluid relationship with the VLS customers

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
