Job description

Field Supervisors work closely with the Field Operations Manager to maximize the production of seed that meets all customer quality specifications.
Responsibilities include:
• Performing work activities safely and in compliance with company QMS program.
• Accurate sorting, labeling and distribution of parent seed to growers
• Verifying field isolation distances prior to planting
• Working with seed growers to ensure proper planting
• Monitoring crop conditions (insects, weeds, disease, etc) throughout the growing season
• Monitoring rouging crews, detasseling crews, and detasseling machine operators to ensure the maintenance of maximum yield potential and that seed quality specifications are met
• This position will require to work within plant operations during the fall and winter months
