Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented International Logistics Coordinator for our client to manage and coordinate global import and export shipments. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products move efficiently across international borders while maintaining compliance with trade regulations and company standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate international import and export shipments from origin to destination.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs documents.
  • Partner with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve transportation, customs clearance, or documentation issues.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, import/export laws, and company policies.
  • Track shipping costs, transit times, and key logistics performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of international transactions and transportation activities.
  • Communicate shipment updates and logistics requirements with customers, suppliers, and global business partners.
  • Support inventory planning and supply chain operations related to international product movement.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in international logistics, import/export coordination, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of international shipping documentation, customs processes, and trade compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with freight carriers, customs brokers, and global transportation providers.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with ERP, transportation management (TMS), or logistics software is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Pay/Benefits
  • $50,000 - $60,000 depending on experience
  • Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, and 401K plan. Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs.
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
