Job description

Group Sales Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Group Sales Manager to join our esteemed Groups team. As the Group Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and fostering client relationships by effectively promoting the capabilities of our Groups department. Your strategic approach, exceptional communication skills, and passion for exceeding sales targets will be instrumental in maximizing group bookings. We want sales professionals ready to tap into an open marketplace, make their mark at a high growth company and further develop in your career.

What You'll Do
  • Drive Revenue & Growth: Drive profitable revenue growth by achieving or exceeding established sales targets through effective negotiation, upselling, and cross-selling strategies. Consistently meet or exceed KPI requirements.
  • Build a Pipeline: Build a robust pipeline of opportunities through strategic account prospecting and tapping into an open unmanaged travel marketplace.
  • Cultivate Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while proactively identifying and engaging new prospective clients to expand the hotel's group booking portfolio.
  • Advocate for Clients: Advocate for groups clients both internally and externally, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction by maintaining open lines of communication and promptly addressing inquiries or concerns.
  • Create Tailored Proposals: Create tailored proposals and presentations that showcase the unique features, amenities, and services of our platform, addressing the specific needs and preferences of different group segments.
  • Foster Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional support teams and business partners-including departments such as sourcing, marketing, and project managers-to ensure seamless execution of group bookings.
  • Own Operational Excellence: Utilize effective time management strategy and cadence-driven customer follow-up. Be an expert in presenting our value position in the unmanaged travel market.
  • Learn & Adapt: Learn and implement new software, processes, and systems to support the team through rapid scale. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong alignment with our DNA (a must-have)
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record in hospitality sales, tech sales, or SaaS (elevated to fit a world-class profile)
  • Demonstrated success in consultative sales approaches, with a track record of retaining and expanding an existing customer base
  • Expert-level negotiation, presentation, and listening skills with pristine verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and maintain meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and resourceful professional who thrives on ownership and delivering results in a highly competitive market
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage market data, competitor dynamics, and industry trends to optimize sales strategies
  • Available for travel (up to 5% per year)

Applications for this role will be accepted through 11/25/2026 or until the role is filled. We encourage you to apply early, as we may begin reviewing applications before the deadline.
