Director of Sales
Opening Team | New Lifestyle Hotel Brand | Hillsboro, Oregon
Build the business. Lead the team. Shape the future.
 
We are seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Director of Sales to lead revenue strategy for an exciting new hotel brand, Caption by Hyatt, opening in Hillsboro, Oregon.
This is a unique opportunity for a hospitality sales leader who thrives on building market presence, developing high-performing teams, and driving revenue growth from the ground up. As a member of the hotel leadership team, you will be responsible for growing market share, securing new business, and creating lasting client relationships throughout the Portland metro region.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive hotel revenue through strategic sales and business development efforts.
  • Prospect, solicit, negotiate, and close new corporate, group, and local business.
  • Conduct outside sales calls, site tours, and client presentations.
  • Partner with the General Manager and Revenue Manager on forecasting, budgeting, and revenue strategies.
  • Analyze market trends, STAR reports, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions.
  • Maintain sales systems, reporting, and administrative processes to company standards.

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Major hotel brand experience preferred.
