We are seeking a driven and high-performing Associate Destination Manager who will be responsible for the health and quality of the Viator product offering across their assigned geographical destinations. The Associate Destination Manager will have a solid understanding of key trends, opportunities, and challenges within their destination and work to optimize our product offering to best match the consumer demand in terms of product variety, pricing, and availability.
You are a brand ambassador that will focus on growing your destination as well as Viator's positioning within your given territory. You will be responsible for meeting/exceeding destination level key performance indicators and maintaining/improving the overall commercial health of your destination. In this role you will be working with both internal and external stakeholders to align on necessary product offerings in the designated destination(s), carrying out critically important tasks to maintain and grow our competitive advantage in the given territory.
Job Location: Remote, Southeastern USA
This role is a remote position in the USA. Occasional travel to company offices as necessary.
As an Associate Destination Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Ensuring that Viator has the best in class product offering for the assigned territory
  • Strategically acquire new inventory to fill product gaps and highlight new and exciting products in your destination
  • Establish, maintain, and grow key supplier relationships in order to ensure Viator has the best product offering and increase Viator brand awareness in your destination
  • Negotiate favorable commercial terms
  • Monitor key metrics in destinations and take action where necessary
  • Ensuring key products are consistently available for sale in the Viator ecosystem
  • Constantly improve the quality of product offering in the market by understanding key characteristics of products that are appealing to our customer and working to implement those characteristics across your destination
  • Be the face of Viator in your assigned destinations and industry events

The ideal candidate for this role will exemplify the following characteristics:
  • 2+ years of Account Management or Sales experience
    • Travel industry experience is a plus

The salary range for this role is $65,000-$85,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee's pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
