Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Drives vehicle (12 passenger Van & Car) to transport residents by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
• Drives vehicle from community area to destination according to assigned schedule.
• Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle, per community policy.
• Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
• Operates radio or similar device to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Meets all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
• Provides back-up support to Valet, Concierge, and for resident package delivery
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Educational Requirements and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
