Job Summary:
MDAEdge is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Desktop Management Specialist to join their Infrastructure Services team. The role involves providing technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, and collaborating with third-party vendors to resolve hardware issues.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Provide break/fix support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
โ€ข Re-image devices and reinstall/configure applications as required.
โ€ข Troubleshoot Windows OS, hardware issues, and enterprise applications.
โ€ข Collaborate with third-party vendors to escalate and resolve hardware issues.
โ€ข Document issues and resolutions in IT service management systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
โ€ข Install and configure desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and associated software.
โ€ข Provide technical support for on-site and remote users, addressing queries and resolving incidents.
โ€ข Manage the ticket queue to ensure timely resolution in compliance with SLAs.
โ€ข Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), knowledge base articles, and technical documentation.
โ€ข Coordinate with Level 3 support teams for enhancements, maintenance, and upgrades.
