Desktop Support Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team in Okeechobee, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, ensuring smooth operation of desktop systems, hardware, and software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
  • Assist with the setup and deployment of new computers and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, solutions, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on software and hardware usage.
Qualifications
