Insight Global is looking for a Desktop Support Technician for one of clients located in Richmond, VA. Details listed below


Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1 technical support for desktops, laptops and mobile devices
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows) and standard business applications
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory and related systems
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment setup and account provisioning
  • Document issues, resolutions, and processes in the ticketing system(ServiceDesk)
  • Collaborate with other team members to escalate and resolve complex issues
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and system checks
  • Assist with IT projects such as system upgrades, deployments, and migrations


Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in desktop support or a similar IT role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and basic networking concepts
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems(ServiceDesk preferred)
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
