Our facility in Billerica, Massachusetts is located in the metropolitan Boston area and specializes in the design and manufacturing of advanced photonics products based on MEMS and other micro-scale optical devices. Our unique technology enables the highest system performance in the most compact and cost-effective formats in a variety of applications.

This site's Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) products are laser-based imaging tools that have transformed ophthalmic care and made notable impacts on patients in cardiology, dermatology, oncology, gastroenterology, and other medical specialties.

We are presently seeking an on-site Desktop Support Technician for our Billerica site. 

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced onsite and desk-side IT support for end users as needed when escalated from the service desk;
  • Support and maintain Windows PCs, laptops, and mobile devices in an enterprise environment;
  • Perform device provisioning, replacements, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management;
  • Support Microsoft Intune operations including device enrollment, compliance monitoring, configuration profiles, and application deployments;
  • Troubleshoot endpoint related issues and partner with senior IT staff on complex incidents;
  • Assist with endpoint security, patching, and standard configuration activities;
  • Document technical procedures, asset changes, and issue resolutions in accordance with IT standards.

 

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate hands on experience supporting Windows endpoints in a business environment;
  • Show working knowledge of Microsoft Intune or endpoint management platforms;
  • Exhibit experience supporting users onsite with minimal supervision;
  • Possess a solid understanding of Microsoft 365 applications and Azure AD concepts;
  • Communicate effectively with end users and IT team members;
  • Be willing to travel as required;
  • Must be a US Persons;
  • This position does not have relocation assistance;
  • Be able to lift and move IT equipment as part of onsite support duties.

The salary range for this position is $25.00 to $45.00
