Job description

Must be able to physically come into the shop to work. This job is not remote.

Compensation:

$40,000


Responsibilities:
  • Works with co-workers and customers with file transfers, design options, proofs, etc.
  • Inspects jobs for accuracy before sending them to the plotter or printer
  • Provides accurate proofs/renderings to clients in a timely manner
  • Ability to communicate and work with customers to create and deliver high-quality, creative, and accurate proofs
  • Assists in the maintenance of all equipment, including computers, plotters, and printers
  • Maintains accurate electronic and paper records of File Storage for all proofs/renderings
  • Works on different projects simultaneously
  • Establishes and maintains effective team relationships with all support departments
  • Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes

Qualifications:
  • Experience with multiple computer software programs is needed, specifically Adobe Creative Suite
  • Illustrator and Photoshop, and RIP software, including Flexi, Onyx, and Versa Works, preferred
  • Strong PC skills and internet, publishing software, and sign production software skills
  • Previous experience as a graphic designer, sign-related computer operator, or desktop
  • publishing required, including an advanced level of experience using Adobe applications,
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions, and converting fractions to decimals and vice versa)
  • Able to work well under pressure to produce high-volume, high-quality work
  • Able to sit and view a computer screen for long periods
  • Able to lift 50 or more pounds
  • Able to use light power equipment
