Desktop Imaging Engineer Jobs in Wisconsin (NOW HIRING)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide end-user desktop support, including hardware, software, imaging, and operating system troubleshooting.
• Install, configure, maintain, and support desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral devices.
• Perform system imaging, deployment, configuration, and migration of desktops and laptops.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, including LAN/WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Deliver printer installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting support for local and network printers.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to technical support requests and resolving issues within established service levels.
• Research, design, test, and evaluate computer hardware and related equipment for commercial and enterprise environments.
• Supervise the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of computer hardware and related components.
• Analyze user requirements and recommend appropriate hardware and technology solutions.
• Coordinate hardware testing and verification activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
• Oversee the development, testing, and modification of hardware prototypes using physical and computer simulation models.
• Collaborate with engineering, product development, sales, marketing, suppliers, and technical teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Evaluate hardware and software compatibility, interface requirements, and overall system performance.
• Direct and mentor technical support staff, engineering designers, and technicians while providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Assign and monitor technical tasks to ensure timely project completion and adherence to organizational standards.
• Maintain documentation related to hardware configurations, system deployments, and technical procedures.
• Utilize configuration management tools, desktop management software, operating systems, and directory services to administer enterprise environments.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues while exercising independent judgment to resolve technical problems.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, technical standards, and operational requirements during system implementation and support.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance desktop support processes, hardware reliability, and customer satisfaction.
