What is a deskside support?

Deskside Support specialists are IT professionals who provide on-site technical assistance to end users within an organization. They handle issues related to computer hardware, software, printers, and other workplace technology, ensuring that employees can work efficiently. These specialists often troubleshoot problems, perform repairs, set up new equipment, and assist with software installations or updates. Their role is crucial in maintaining smooth daily operations by addressing technical issues quickly and effectively.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a deskside support professional?
