Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented HUMINT Desk Officer to join our team in Fort Meade, MD.

The HUMINT Desk Officer will leverage their strong operational background and knowledge to support cyberspace initiatives, to include conducting technical oversight, coordinating and synchronizing activities, and drafting operational documentation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serving as HUMINT Desk Officer/Specialist in support of enduring and emerging operational initiatives within full spectrum cyberspace operations
  • Conducting technical oversight, coordination, deconfliction, and synchronization of full spectrum HUMINT activities
  • Coordinating HUMINT operations and capability requirements with staff, task forces, service components, and interagency partners
  • Integrating HUMINT operations with cyberspace operations and the Joint Targeting Cycle
  • Drafting and presenting oral, visual, and written presentations to senior level government and military leadership
  • Composing documents, briefings, white papers, and information papers in support of operation proposals, plans, orders, and taskings
  • Traveling within the CONUS for up to 25% of the time as required to support mission objectives

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 9+ years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 13+ years of experience OR Associate’s degree and 11+ years of experience OR Master’s Degree and 7+ years, OR a PhD with 5+ years of progressively responsible experience
  • Experience in HUMINT operations management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of HUMINT experience
  • Strong ability to operate within advanced technical environments
  • 3+ years experience with cybersecurity, computer networking, or cyberspace operations

Clearance Requirements:

  • An current active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
