You enjoy mentoring others, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a positive, supportive team culture. Most importantly, you care about creating spaces that make an impact for the people who use them.

What Youll Do

  • Produce and manage coordinated drawing sets including plans, RCPs, elevations, details, and schedules
  • Create space plans, finish palettes, and FF&E selections with minimal oversight
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, code-compliant, and aligned with project goals
  • Collaborate with architects, consultants, and vendors to deliver integrated design solutions
  • Review RFIs, submittals, and conduct site observations during construction administration
  • Identify and help resolve coordination issues proactively
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations, clearly communicating design ideas
  • Mentor Interns and Designer I team members, supporting their growth and reviewing work for quality
  • Conduct site visits and apply real-world insights to design decisions
  • Stay current with building codes, materials, and industry best practices

Tools Youll Use

  • Revit, AutoCAD
  • Bluebeam
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Rendering tools such as D5
  • Microsoft Office or similar tools

What Youll Bring

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • 4 to 7 years of experience, preferably in commercial interior design within an architectural setting
  • NCIDQ certification achieved or in progress
  • Strong understanding of the full design process from concept through construction
