This role supports a Navy customer in San Diego, CA.
Job Description and Responsibilities: Design strategies for enterprise databases, data warehouse systems, and multidimensional
networks. Set standards for database operations, programming, query processes, and security. Model, design, and construct large relational databases or data warehouses. Create and optimize data models for warehouse infrastructure and workflow. Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structure and refine system performance and functionality
- Develop and manage large-scale database architectures and data warehouses.
- Establish data standards and security controls in compliance with DoD CUI protocols.
- Integrate multiple data systems for reporting and analysis.
- Support system accreditation and cybersecurity documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and network teams to enhance performance.
Basic Requirements: A Journeyman has 6+ years of experience in database administration or design. A Senior has 10+ years of experience in database engineering and architecture
Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Security Clearance: Secret (must be a US Citizen)
Telework and Travel: On-Site, <5% Travel
Contract: This position is pending a contract award.
