Job description

Fusion A.I. Design is seeking an Interior Designer with 7+ years of experience.  Join us as part of a highly qualified design team.  Our ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative approach to design, but will also be able to work independently on several design related tasks.  You must have a positive attitude, be open to direction, well organized and passionate about design. We are excited to expand our happy and peaceful work environment as we grow to better serve an exciting pipeline of clients and design projects in hospitality, multi-family & senior living, among others!

Responsibilities include:
  • Organization and management of assigned projects and related work, as directed by Supervisor.
  • Supervise and direct design support team to achieve project milestones and deliverables
  • Project location, Brand and target market research with project specific analysis
  • Concept design collaboration with Design Principal
  • Design development of conceptual designs
  • Design research and product development for project specific implementation
  • Finish, furnishings and material selections/specifications
  • Preparation of Client and Brand presentation materials. Deliverable items include rendered floor and ceiling plans, elevations and project/color boards, etc.
  • Construction documentation including CAD drafting, detailing and FFE spec writing in keeping with FAID quality standards, industry standards and codes
The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree from an accredited school of Interior Design
  • 7 or more years professional experience in commercial interior design projects
  • Min. 5 years of Hospitality and/or Multi-family Design experience
  • Ability to manage responsibilities on concurrent projects with phased but potentially overlapping deadlines
  • AutoCAD experience mandatory, Revit and 3DS Max experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, Publisher and Microsoft 365 products such as Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Excellent communication skills; positive minded, collaborative spirit that works great with a team
