Job description

The Preconstruction Project Manager - Progressive Design-Build (PDB) is responsible for leading all Phase 1 Progressive Design-Build (PDB) services from procurement through commercial validation and successful transition into Phase 2 construction. This highly visible leadership position serves as the primary liaison between the Owner, Designer of Record, engineering consultants, and internal operations teams to ensure projects are delivered with exceptional planning, collaboration, cost certainty, and risk management.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience managing large-scale heavy civil and infrastructure projects utilizing Progressive Design-Build, Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), and other alternative delivery methods. This individual is responsible for driving design management, estimating, scheduling, procurement strategies, constructability, value engineering, and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) development while fostering collaborative relationships with clients and executive management. This is a full time position that will office in Baton Rouge, LA.
