Job description

Growing full service firm looking to add a talented Civil/Water Conveyance and Distribution Project Manager to their Youngstown, Ohio office!


Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff/project work
  • Prepare or oversee the preparation of the scope, schedule and fees for new projects and additional projects for existing clients
  • Mentor/train junior staff
  • Manage projects (utility design, water distribution and wastewater collection, studies, field engineering and data acquisition, direct interaction with clients, contracting, and construction administration)
  • Assist with public works / roadway design projects
  • Regular communication with other team members/staff
  • Assist with business development
  • Complete technical tasks (design/quality review)
  • Ensure project documents are consistent with project plans and within scope and budget
  • Manage data research, collection, and compilation efforts
  • Identify potential problems and find resolutions
  • Responsible for QA/QC initiatives


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience (site development, sustainability, utility design)
  • Experience in Storm and Wastewater conveyance and water distribution
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex projects
  • Kentucky PE License
  • Experience with roadway/transportation facility design preferred
  • Established relationships in the Louisville, KY area and southern Indiana
  • Experience with KYTC and INDOT preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and / or Microstation (Openroads)
  • Must have a valid Driver's License


Salary is commensurate with experience.
