The Manager, Visual Merchandising and Store Design (VMSD) Operations is responsible for driving the operational execution of Visual Merchandising and Store Design initiatives across global retail locations. This role will support the milestone tracking, project management, trafficking, coordination, and execution of product launches across retail touch points. This role's core emphasis will be the project management of secondary product placements across global retail channels while simultaneously owning seasonal updates for permanent fixtures in our North America Flagship store, Global Countertop Units, and select shop-in-shops. This role will also manage the approval timelines and deliverables associated with VMSD projects in China (SIS, FSS, Sephora). The Manager, VMSD Operations will partner closely with Visual Merchandising, Store Design, Creative, Trade/Product Marketing, Operations and external vendor partners. This is an exciting new, pivotal position on our team that ensures product launches meet timelines, budget requirements, and brand standards as the business continues to grow globally. 

WHAT YOU DO: 

  • Work within departmental project management system to maintain clear documentation and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure key deadlines are met. Clearly communicate project risks and propose solutions to maintain deadlines. 
  • Track project milestones across several retailers (Sephora, Ulta, APAC) and regions (NA, ANZ, APAC) based upon volume/deadlines/priorities, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues as needed to keep work on track.  
  • Coordinate approvals, feedback cycles, and revisions with multiple internal and external global contributors.  
  • Serve as the operational bridge between VMSD, Production, and Store Operations and cross functional partners.  
  • Demonstrate high level of agility and partnership in a fast moving, ambiguous environment. 
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional meetings, milestones, and project reviews. 
  • Develop, document, and maintain visual merchandising processes, timelines, and standards. 
  • Own seasonal and special project trackers, ensuring alignment across visual, store design, production, and field teams. 
  • Track operational KPIs including timelines, budgets, design and artwork production milestones. 
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking for VMSD programs. 
  • Additional Projects and Tasks as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, Project Management or related field. 
  • BS in Visual Merchandising or PMP will be highly regarded. 
  • Strong MS Office and Asana skills. 
  • Understanding of 2d / 3d Production timeline and process. 
  • Extremely detailed oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Strong communication skills- able to translate design direction into operational clarity  
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment is a plus. 
  • Must be able to work from Corporate Office at least 60% of the time.

The expected base salary range for this position is $90,000 - 98,000 per year. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
