We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Design Assistant.

The Assistant Designer, Sweaters provides administrative and creative support to the design team throughout the product development lifecycle. This role is responsible for maintaining organization, supporting seasonal development, and assisting with daily design operations while building foundational design skills.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Key Responsibilities
?    Assist designers with seasonal development support
?    Create flat sketches and CAD updates under direction of the design team
?    Prepare presentation boards and meeting materials
?    Track, organize, and maintain samples
?    Maintain fabric, trim, and color libraries
?    Support proto tracking and development calendars
?    Conduct basic trend and competitive research
?    Assist with showroom and meeting preparation
?    Support design administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications
?    Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred
?    Degree or specialization in knitwear, relevant coursework, or internship
     experience in sweaters
?    0-2 years of experience
?    Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
?    Strong organizational and communication skills
?    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range: $26 - $30 Hourly  *Actual base salary for this role within the above range will be based upon experience, qualifications and/or assigned unit.
