PacTec, Inc. is the industry leader in the design and manufacturing of packaging for the waste and transportation industry across the globe. Products include spill containment berms, dewatering filters and tubes, bags, specialty nuclear products, tarps, liners and more. With over 20 current US and British patents, we have a reputation of developing innovative solutions for today's problems. PacTec is seeking to hire a Production Team Assembler - Intern for the spring semester.
Production Team Interns will assist in the production and manufacturing process by:
• Assisting sewers with tasks such as gathering cut materials, accessories, and pulling fabric during assembly
• Folding and prepping completed products to be inspected and prepared for shipping
• Operating welder sealing machines to assemble berms and prep for inspection and shipping
• Operating industrial cutting tools
The intern position is a temporary part-time internship and not eligible for benefits. The internship position may turn into a full-time benefit eligible position if all job requirements are met.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 yrs of age
  • Must be able to work the scheduled shift which operates Monday - Thursday from 12 pm- 4:30 pm
  • Must have ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel and use hands and arms to assist in the manufacturing process, cutting &
  • assembly of all manufacturing materials
  • Must be able to tolerate prolonged exposure to fluctuating weather conditions in a warehouse environment
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
