Job description

Struction Solutions is seeking a Project Development Managerto oversee the planning and execution of new school construction andmodernization projects. This role is responsible for managing project scope, schedules,and budgets while ensuring successful coordination across stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate pre-construction activities, ensuring projects meet budget, schedule, and scope requirements.
  • Manage multiple school projects, resolving complex planning, design, and construction issues.
  • Supervise and evaluate Assistant Facility Development Managers (AFDMs), Design Managers (DMs), and design professionals.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, and overall progress, providing reports to key stakeholders.
  • Support A/E contract administration and bid planning, review contract scopes, fees, and payment applications, and provide fiscal oversight for multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with government and utility agencies to facilitate project approvals and completion.
  • Support project compliance with applicable environmental and agency requirements, with preferred experience involving CEQA, LEED, CHPS, and major public-facility a
  • Coordinate project activities with internal departments, including Environmental Health & Safety, Design & A/E Technical Support, and Facilities Contract Administration.
  • Develop internal policies and procedures to improve project efficiency.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience managing capital project planning, design, and construction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Preferred: California Registered Architect, Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or LEED Accreditation.
