Job description

Amish Haus Furniture is looking for a design associate to join our established team. We are a locally owned business with a friendly atmosphere and a focus on the customer. Amish Haus offers you the opportunity to design and sell the highest quality furniture built here in the Midwest. We provide you the tools to be successful in sales, while enhancing our customer’s homes with heirloom quality furniture with today’s look.

Imagine working in an environment full of heirloom quality furniture complimented with hand crafted accessories and wide range of fabrics, woods and finishes available to create exclusive designs for our customers. We have three brands of upholstery in addition to the Simply Amish furniture we have offered previously.

Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Customer Greeting
  • In-Store Sketches and Room Plans
  • Home Visits and Consultations
  • Maintaining Customer Base with follow ups and record keeping.
  • Accurate Orders and Custom Quotes
  • Maintain the store appearance and cleanliness

Qualifications would include:

  • Enthusiastic personality with the ability to work well with others
  • Desire to create a beautiful home for your client
  • Motivation to reach your personal income goals
  • Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work Saturdays and some Sundays.
