Work Schedule, Hours per week: Monday-Friday, up to 20 hours per week

Starting Salary Range:  $16.31-$20.77 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

Position Summary: The MTC Marketing and Graphic Design Assistant works with the MTC Marketing Coordinator on engaging solutions for communications and marketing channels, including social assets and social media marketing campaigns, emails, print and digital ads, publications, event materials, internal presentations, etc. that align with the brand messaging, and strategic objectives for the MTC Performing Arts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, or related field
  • 1 year of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, or related field
  • 3 years of related experience

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the development and execution of creative concepts for leading edge marketing tactics and campaign creation.
  • Complete graphic design projects as needed for MTC advertising campaigns.
  • Develop social media engagement and advertising campaigns. Creates content for MTC Facebook, Instagram, X, and newsletter engagement. 
  • Assist in the prioritization of projects by workload and deadlines. 
  • Maintain the College's values, goals and objectives in all designs. 
  • Work collaboratively with JCCC Communications and Marketing team to maintain adherence to brand standards and overall College marketing strategies. 
  • Other duties as assigned by the MTC Marketing Coordinator.
