We are growing and are looking for a an "Assistant Design Consultant" to work in our showroom located in central Tucson, AZ. This position has many opportunities for growth for the right person.
We need someone energetic, creative, and is self-motivated. We are an intimate team that relies heavily on one another, so being a team player is a must. You are the face of our company, the person our clients will meet first. You will guide customers through selections, be responsible for placing orders, keeping track of those orders, and checking the material once it arrives. You will have your own clients and be willing to help other designers with their projects/ orders. You will be responsible for keeping the showroom trendy as well as clean and organized.

What we Need:
  • Create lasting customer relationships
  • Take design meetings, walk in or otherwise and create corresponding proposals and orders
  • Answering phones taking messages and scheduling appointments for self and designers
  • Proactively greeting customers upon entry
  • Manage the showroom:
    • Put Samples Away for your own meetings and other Designers
    • Keeping Showroom organized, boards orderly, staying on top of discontinued product
  • Order Samples for your clients and other designers
  • Follow up on Order status, work with operations on checking in orders

Keeping price lists up to date in shared drive, keeping staff updated with changes
