We are seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager to join our Avon, MA team. This role provides hands-on support to Project Managers across multiple disciplines, offering a strong foundation in construction management and career growth within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers with the day-to-day execution of active projects, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Maintain and track project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and purchase orders.
  • Coordinate project schedules, material deliveries, and field activities with vendors and site teams.
  • Manage drawing revisions, transmittals, and submittal approvals.
  • Track field craft time sheets for accurate payroll and labor reporting.
  • Support document control through systems such as SharePoint, Procore, or similar platforms.
  • Participate in internal and external project meetings; prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Provide logistical support for equipment rentals, fabrication releases, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Utilize emerging technology tools (e.g., AI assistants, Procore AI, Microsoft Copilot) to streamline scheduling, data entry, and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of construction or project management experience (internships or co-op experience accepted).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with project management or AI-enhanced tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Procore AI).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, team-driven environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to occasionally travel to local project sites.

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasional walking, standing, or visiting project sites.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Work Schedule
Standard Monday-Friday schedule (40 hours per week). Occasional evening or weekend work may be required, depending on project deadlines.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
