Job Title: Automotive Design Engineer - Theme Development - CAD/CATIA
Overview / Summary:
We are seeking a Theme Development Engineer to collaborate with cross-functional teams in bringing design concepts to life. This role involves developing engineering concepts, integrating design and manufacturing inputs, and supporting the creation of physical models to align design vision with functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop initial engineering concepts for new design themes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support design execution
  • Integrate engineering and manufacturing inputs into surface development
  • Propose alternative solutions to meet functional and design requirements
  • Support the creation of physical models to validate concepts
  • Contribute to feasibility assessments and design progression

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in vehicle layout/package, including Body and Trim
  • Advanced proficiency in CATIA and CAD tools with ability to create complex 3D proposals
  • Strong understanding of production processes
