Physician Assistant - Dermatology
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant with a strong interest in dermatology to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a trained professional or an individual willing to undergo specialized training in dermatology to contribute to patient care and skin health management. Join us in providing exceptional dermatological services in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient consultations, including history taking and physical examinations related to dermatological conditions
- Assist dermatologists in diagnosing and treating skin, hair, and nail disorders
- Perform procedures such as biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and other dermatological treatments
- Educate patients on skin health, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Document patient interactions accurately and maintain detailed medical records
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Stay current with advancements in dermatology and participate in ongoing training and professional development
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Certification as a Physician Assistant from an accredited program
- Prior experience in dermatology is preferred but not required; willingness to train in dermatology is essential
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
