Job description

Dermatologist / Mohs Surgeon
Practice by the ocean. Own a piece of the practice.
Build a thriving general dermatology and Mohs surgery practice on one of the Southeast’s most beautiful coastlines — with the patient demand to stay busy from day one, the autonomy to run your clinic your way, and real equity ownership in a practice that has put physicians first for over 40 years.
• Set your own schedule — 4 or 5 days a week, your call
• Full clinical autonomy in a physician-led group
• Partner and shareholder track — own a stake in your success
• Coastal lifestyle in fast-growing Myrtle Beach, SC
Who We Are
DOCS Dermatology Group is one of the largest, most established, and most financially stable dermatology practices in the country. More than 300 providers practice across 140+ state-of-the-art locations in 10 states, and we’ve been caring for patients for over 40 years.
Our model preserves the best of private practice: aligned clinical governance, meaningful physician equity ownership, and a world-class management team that handles the business so you can focus on medicine. The result is a 96% provider retention rate — best-in-class, and a direct reflection of our collegial, transparent culture.
At DOCS, physicians lead. Alongside national thought leaders, researchers, former residency directors, and academic preceptors, you’ll help shape both cutting-edge care and the day-to-day decisions that affect your patients and your practice.
The Opportunity
Charlotte Dermatology, a member of DOCS Dermatology Group, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Dermatologist with Mohs training to join our thriving Myrtle Beach practice. You’ll step into an established referral network with strong, unmet demand for both medical dermatology and skin cancer treatment.
Thanks to the area’s rapid population growth, you can expect to build a busy schedule quickly — backed by experienced medical assistants, clinical staff, and operational resources that let you practice at the top of your license. Whether you’re an experienced physician or a graduating resident or fellow, you’ll have the freedom to blend medical, surgical, cosmetic dermatology, and Mohs surgery in a collaborative environment.
Why Myrtle Beach?
Myrtle Beach pairs an outstanding quality of life with a lower cost of living than most beach communities. Picture miles of coastline, a warm year-round climate, world-class golf, fresh seafood, and a vibrant entertainment scene. Continued population growth keeps patient demand strong while you enjoy a genuinely balanced life in one of the Southeast’s most desirable coastal destinations.
Compensation amp; Benefits
• Highly competitive salary guarantee, plus production incentives
• Attractive sign-on bonus
• Shareholder / ownership opportunity
• Generous employer-matched 401(k)
• Relocation allowance
• Malpractice coverage with tail
• Robust PTO, plus CME time and allowance
• Annual Provider Summit
• Modern EMA electronic medical record system
• Dedicated clinical and administrative support team
What You’ll Need
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Dermatologist
• Fellowship-trained in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, or Mohs certification
• Eligible for South Carolina medical licensure
Ready to practice where you’d love to vacation?
