Job description

Dermatology Physician Assistant

We are a fast-pace and growing privately owned dermatology group located in OR and WA. We are expanding and are looking for a responsible, self-motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic Dermatology Physician Assistant to help grow our practice. Physician Assistant (PA) scope of practice includes the independent diagnosis, treatment, management, and the performance of dermatologic procedures. PA will provide dermatology care, including but not limited to examining and diagnosing skin-related health concerns, administering treatments, monitoring patient progress, and is responsible for making independent medical judgment decisions and discuss any difficult or challenging cases/situations with the physician.

Duties include taking medical histories, performing examinations, and developing treatment plans within the scope of your practice.

Guaranteed base salary and bonus structure depending on productivity. Preferably at least 1 year of experience as a licensed practitioner in the field of Dermatology. Primary Care PA are encouraged to apply as company will train the right candidate for the position.

This position is Full Time with room for growth. The practice is offering a generous compensation structure and benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401k.

Requirements:

  • PA licensed and 1+ yrs experience and ability to function as a provider. Training available based on experience, but you should be able to evaluate, and manage complications.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Caring and EXCEPTIONAL Customer service experience
  • Ability to evaluate patient concerns
  • Able to write prescriptions
  • Ability to reach patient satisfaction and follow up accordingly
  • Ability to follow HIPPA, all patient privacy and other health codes
  • Ability to recommend treatments and products to benefit the patient
  • Assist patients throughout consultations to identify their goals and help them decide the correct procedure to achieve optimal results
  • Ensure the safety of clients at all times
  • Provide answers to pre-treatment and post-treatment questions
  • Ensure a high level of patient satisfaction
  • Provide high-quality service by following protocols at all times
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support practice
  • Support back office with medical questions, concerns, and patient follow-ups
