Dermatology Medical Assistant

Dermatology & Advanced Skin Care is a well-established, multi-doctor dermatology practice in the Ellicott City / Columbia area that is growing!

We are passionate about providing excellent medical services and know this takes a team effort where everyone counts.

Job Description
  • Work as a medical assistant for the dermatologists and Mohs surgeon including assisting with medical dermatology, cosmetic and surgery appointments.
  • Scribe for the providers and answer questions patients may have with guidance from the providers.
  • Work on administrative tasks including following up with patient clinical inquiries.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
  • Be a team player! We work as a team, so everyone helps each other out to make every day great!
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills required.
  • Must like to juggle or multi-task! This is a busy office so you have to like to keep busy!
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be reliable.

Job Type:

  • Full-time: Must be able to work shifts between 7:30am 5:30pm
  • Pay range: $20-24/hr

Experience:

  • Experience working in a medical office setting is required.
  • Dermatology experience is preferred

Education:

  • High School Diploma (Required)

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Medical Assisting Certification (Preferred)
