Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Dermatologist for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in an outpatient dermatology setting.

Position Details
  • Location: Rochester, NY
  • Start Date: October 5, 2026
  • Assignment: 26 weeks
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • Call: No call
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 25–35 patients per day
  • Setting: Outpatient Dermatology
  • EMR: Epic
  • Support: Approximately 1 LPN/RN/MA per 12 patients
  • Primary practice location with potential coverage at another nearby dermatology office
  • Offices are approximately 28 minutes apart
  • Flexible scheduling may be considered
  • Minor dermatologic procedures may be available for providers interested in performing them
Requirements
  • Board Certified Dermatologist
  • Minimum 3 years of recent dermatology experience
  • Recent Epic experience required
  • BLS required
  • New York license preferred; providers with a pending NY license may be considered
  • Updated work history required
  • No unexplained employment gaps of 30+ days
Work Environment
  • Busy, well-supported outpatient dermatology clinic
  • Consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule
  • Collaborative clinical team with dedicated nursing/medical assistant support
  • Broad dermatology patient volume with potential opportunity for minor procedures
