Opportunity Overview:

POP MART is seeking a Store Manager to lead store performance, team development, and operational excellence as we continue expanding across the United States. This role owns the end-to-end store business, including sales performance, customer experience, operations execution, and people leadership, ensuring alignment with POP MART's brand standards, global retail strategy, and company culture.

The Store Manager serves as a stakeholder of the store's four-wall performance and acts as the critical link between people, product, profit, performance. This role reports to the District/Area Manager and partners cross-functionally with Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, HR, and international teams.

An interest in designer toys, collectibles, and trend culture is strongly preferred.

What You Will Achieve:

  • Own total store performance, including sales targets, KPIs, and profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze business trends, product performance, and customer demand to drive commercial decisions.
  • Execute product launches, merchandising strategies, and marketing initiatives to maximize sell-through.
  • Maintain strong communication with Area Manager and cross-functional partners regarding store performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Maintain loss prevention standards and implement shrink-reduction strategies.
  • Support RoboShop operations and coordination with business partners when applicable.
  • Champion a customer-first culture utilizing Popmart's selling framework to consistently deliver brand appropriate service standards.
  • Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain store presentation standards aligned with POP MART brand storytelling.
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and associates to achieve performance goals.
  • Own store talent planning and recruiting efforts, including building candidate pipelines, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding team members to ensure the store is staffed to support business needs and growth.
  • Build a strong talent pipeline through coaching, development planning, and succession planning.
  • Deliver consistent performance feedback and recognition.
  • Ensure completion of onboarding, compliance training, and job-skills training.

What You Will Need:

  • 2-3+ years of retail leadership experience (Store Manager or equivalent leadership role preferred)
  • Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and implement new operational standards.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort working in a dynamic, evolving retail environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6-8 hours per shift)
  • Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and safely climb ladders or step stools
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as unpacking boxes, tagging merchandise, and stocking shelves
  • Manual dexterity to safely operate stockroom tools (e.g., box cutters)
  • Ability to work in stockroom and receiving environments with varying temperatures
  • Ability to multitask and move quickly in a fast-paced retail setting
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Up to 10% travel
