About the Role

Talarico for Texas is hiring a Deputy Operations Director to join James Talarico's US Senate campaign. This is a full-time, paid position ideal for a highly organized individual who thrives on keeping teams coordinated, building effective systems, and turning strategic priorities into actionable plans. The Deputy Operations Director will work closely with the Operations Director to manage the day-to-day execution of the Operations Department, oversee managers, and ensure campaign priorities are carried out efficiently. This role serves as a key partner in driving operational excellence across the campaign.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily campaign headquarter operations, including office logistics, administrative systems, and staff support functions
  • Direct administrative and operational compliance processes, such as internal documentation, receipts, and invoices
  • Coordinate interdepartmental travel logistics and planning, including staff travel, lodging, transportation, and itineraries
  • Build and maintain systems and structures that improve organization, communication, and execution

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in political campaigns, government offices, operations, logistics, or other relevant experience
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple moving pieces under pressure
  • Exhibits discretion and sound judgment in handling sensitive political, personal, and confidential information
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across departments and manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable with nontraditional hours, reflecting the pace and demands of a statewide campaign
  • Commitment to the mission, values, and success of the Talarico for Texas campaign

Benefits
