Healing Hearts Counseling is actively seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our innovative team in a remote school-based setting. As a full-time therapist, you will play a critical role in fostering the mental wellness of students facing a variety of psychological challenges. Our therapists engage with students, parents, and educational staff virtually, maintaining an organized and efficient workflow. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to ascertain the needs of students, followed by the development of tailored treatment plans that address their specific challenges.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, facilitating individual and group therapy sessions.
• Organize and facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to provide resources for students dealing with common mental health issues.
• Collaborate closely with school personnel, including teachers and administrators, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care for students.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, equipping students with coping strategies during emotional emergencies.
• Educate clients and families about mental health topics, treatment options, and available support services in the community.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with established legal and ethical standards.
• Engage regularly in team meetings, professional development workshops, and case consultations to enhance skill sets and improve service delivery.
• Stay updated on current mental health research to continually refine therapy practices, contributing to overall team effectiveness.

Our primary focus is on school-aged children and adolescents who are navigating various mental health challenges. We work extensively with students exhibiting anxiety, depression, and behavioral concerns, equipped to address the unique needs of diverse populations. Our therapists create a nurturing environment that promotes emotional security, allowing students to express themselves and engage in their therapeutic journey.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university is required.
• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Proficient in delivering therapeutic services to various clients, with a strong foundation in conducting comprehensive assessments and treatment planning.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with clients and their families.
• Demonstrated ability to practice ethical judgment and establish professional boundaries.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and tracking of patient progress.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment, contributing valuable insights and supportive resources.

Applicants with a minimum of two years of relevant mental health experience, specifically in a school-based setting, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices, behavioral interventions, and working with diverse populations is highly desirable.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
