Job description

Job Description:

We are looking for a Director, Integrated Media Planning. You will join a supportive team and work with a client that sees us as a true partner.

You will serve in an important leadership role. You will report directly into our Group Director, Media Planning. You will also get to demonstrate your working knowledge of the media space (Traditional and Digital media) and available media research and systems. You will help manage the daily tasks by assuring focus on important client goals and communicating appropriate resource needs to meet ongoing client goals. This role is hybrid, and will be onsite in downtown Chicago three days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of all media channels and experience coordinating across multiple media disciplines with a heavy focus on TV/CTV/Social/Digital

  • 8+ years of experience with upper funnel media awareness campaigns

  • Coordinate with multi-channel teams to design modern, strategic and thoughtful integrated media plans across a myriad of awareness-based channels (TV, CTV, Video, Social, Programmatic and Audio)

  • Comfort overseeing and communicating directly with clients on questions and media plans

  • Evaluate timelines and manage daily deliverables

  • Experience analyzing competitive landscapes, pulling reports using agency tools and compiling insights

  • Manage a large Media Budget and Flowchart

  • Guide media channel selection and forward think on new opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of total experience in a large agency setting

  • 8+ years of media planning and buying experience in the TV, CTV, Social and digital landscape

  • 8+ years of experience with Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, Ad Servers, Media Research tools

  • 3+ years of experience of leading multiple levels of direct reports in a large agency setting

  • Understanding of planning sponsorship campaigns on a national level

  • Experience promoting collaborative relationships with other teams

  • Experience working on large entertainment clients

  • Comfortable working with budgets/numbers and an understanding of mathematical concepts

The annual salary range for this position is $94,000 - $152,375. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.

Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles). Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
