Job description

Kedron Village is looking to add a Dental Assistant to our office located in Peachtree City!
You can find us at 101 Park Place, Peachtree City, GA 30269. Off MacDuff Parkway, just north of Hwy 54 in Peachtree City, near The Avenue shopping center and City Center Park.
We are looking to add a Full-Time Dental Assistant to the team! The ideal candidate is someone with previous professional, dental experience with radiology certificate. Organized-multi tasker with great work ethic. Expanded duties (EFDA) is a plus but not required.
Full-time schedule: Mon-Thurs 7:45-5:00 and Friday 7:45-1:00
Job duties may include but are not limited to-
  • Greets patients in waiting area and escorts patients to the operatory.
  • Assists the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chair side as required or directed by the dentist.
  • Promotes an atmosphere supportive of good dental and general health by demonstrating good oral hygiene, questioning patients to ascertain home care status, instructing patients in techniques of flossing and brushing in accordance with protocol.
  • Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures.
  • Review the health history, make chart entries under the direction of the dentist and assure completion of forms and signatures.
  • Assume the responsibility associated with any duties that may be delegated by the dentist.
  • Familiarize the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion to that patient when it is needed.
  • Stock operatories and maintain clinical supply inventory.
  • Review daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
  • Take digital radiographs.
  • Follow practice protocols: quality assurance, biohazards, infection control, referral, emergency medicine, implants, perio program and emergency treatment.
  • Demonstrate complete knowledge and usage of dental terminology, dental instruments, tray setups and instrument sharpening.

Compensation:
  • Hourly pay based on experience and level of certification ($18-25/hr)
  • Full time benefits include medical, vision, dental, disability, uniform allowance, and time off
