Horizon Health is seeking a full-time or part-time Dentist in any Horizon location to be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the patient’s oral health care, appropriate preventative and emergent services and providing oral health education. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Horizon Health offers a collaborative, team-oriented work environment focused on meeting the needs of individual patients while supporting and contributing to the health and wellness of our communities.
*Successful candidates must be licensed or able to obtain licensure by the State of South Dakota.
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible for direct coordinating all aspects of the patient’s oral health care, including but not limited to: diagnosing through oral examination with aid of dental radiographs, prescribe medication as deemed necessary, performs surgical procedures and monitors growth of development of hard and soft tissues, performs appropriate preventative and emergent measures and provides oral hygiene instruction and dietary instruction. 
  • Provides oral health management, education and appropriate individual counseling for all dental clinic patients. 
  • Integration of appropriate patient oral health care with other health care professionals involved in the patient’s health care management.
