We are currently seeking a friendly and skilled Therapist specializing in Co-Occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders to join our caring team. Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their mental health and substance use needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address both mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support client recovery and progress.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to coordinate care for clients.
  • Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate clients and their families about co-occurring disorders and available resources.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss client care and share best practices with colleagues.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure as a mental health professional (LCSW, LPC, etc.).
  • Experience working with clients who have co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based practices for treating dual diagnoses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload.
