Job description

Dual Licensed Therapist And Licensed Clinical Alcohol And Drug Counselor

Responsibilities Willow Springs Center is seeking a highly qualified, compassionate, and dedicated professional to join our multidisciplinary team. We are actively recruiting a dual licensed therapist (LCSW/LMFT/LPC/LCPC) and licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor (LCADC) to provide exemplary clinical services within our specialized residential treatment program.

Why Join Willow Springs Child and Adolescent Residential Treatment Center? As part of Willow Springs, our residential center offers a supportive work environment emphasizing professional growth, clinical excellence, and staff wellbeing. We provide competitive compensation packages, including comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Our center prioritizes ongoing training and development opportunities, ensuring our clinicians stay at the forefront of best practices in child and adolescent mental health and addiction treatment.

Position Summary: This position offers a unique opportunity to impact the lives of vulnerable children and adolescents who require intensive therapeutic intervention in a residential setting. The dual-licensed clinician will be responsible for comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment planning, and the delivery of evidence-based clinical interventions addressing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The ideal candidate will be skilled in trauma-informed care, behavioral therapies, and family systems approaches as they relate to youth populations. This role requires close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and educators to foster holistic recovery and skill-building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and screenings upon admission, incorporating mental health and substance use evaluations.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans tailored to each child or adolescent's unique needs.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
  • Facilitate psychoeducation sessions for patients and families to enhance understanding and engagement in treatment.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing clinical insights to drive coordinated care.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, ethical guidelines, and UHS policies.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active dual licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC or LCPC and licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor (LCADC) in Nevada.
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience working with children and adolescents in residential or similar therapeutic settings is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in co-occurring disorders treatment and trauma-informed care.
  • Strong clinical documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries while building therapeutic rapport with youth.
  • Commitment to teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.
