Position Purpose:
The Senior Manager, Marketing PMO Strategy is a member of Marketing's Project Management Office (PMO) whose mission is to define how projects are executed leveraging tools and technology that provide frameworks for consistency and transparency.
The Senior Manager, Marketing PMO Strategy leads a team of program and project managers to drive high-impact business and technology initiatives that enhance marketing capabilities and operational efficiency. This role ensures marketing's most critical projects move forward successfully by establishing clear frameworks, optimizing processes, and aligning cross-functional teams. By removing roadblocks, connecting initiatives to the broader vision, and identifying opportunities for efficiency, collaboration, and integration, this leader ensures work is executed effectively and in alignment with strategic priorities and project management best practices. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong operational mindset, committed to driving continuous improvement and delivering measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities:
  • 20% - Develops an effective plan - Develops an effective plan for communicating project information to teams and stakeholders. Develops written status reports and scorecards and presents review documents to leadership. Collects and documents project issues and manages their timely resolution.
  • 30% - Drives consistent program - Drives consistent program governance around pilots and projects, including performance metrics, risk management, relationships management with stakeholders, and ensuring appropriate change management practices are included in the project program.
  • 10% - Manage Team's Responsibilities - Manage team responsible for planning and executing key meetings associated with projects. Attend and provide recaps, tracking and follow up on action items to senior leaders.
  • 30% - Project Leadership - Project Leadership, Develops an effective plan for controlling project scope, schedule, task assignment, budget and monitors project execution to ensure the plan is being followed. Optimizes diverse talent through a demonstrated commitment to equal employment opportunity.
  • 10% - Promote Associate Engagement - Shares responsibility with cross functional project leaders in promoting associate engagement. Ensures duties and responsibilities are understood by everyone and that an inclusive environment is maintained.

Travel Requirements:
  • Typically requires overnight travel 5% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.

  • Eight plus years of experience in program management, operations, organizational effectiveness, or business transformation.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, methodologies, and governance practices.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams through clear expectations, coaching, feedback, and accountability.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to align leaders and teams around shared priorities and outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, address complex challenges, and drive effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in program governance, portfolio management, resource planning, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Experience developing and implementing project plans, timelines, and budgets for complex initiatives.
  • Risk management skills with the ability to proactively identify, mitigate, and escalate issues and roadblocks.
