Position Summary:

The Coaching Sales Specialist is a primary driver of sales growth for the Practice Coaching team, working in close partnership with the Coaching Supervisor to manage and close inbound leads generated through discovery calls, Clarion Sales Specialist referrals, and automated pipeline channels. This role owns the full sales cycle from first contact through close; ensuring timely outreach, consistent follow-up, and a high-quality customer experience. The Coaching Sales Specialist enables the Coaching Supervisor to operate strategically by absorbing sales volume that has grown significantly due to increased lead generation. This role requires strong consultative sales skills, comfort in a field-based environment, and the ability to travel up to 25% of the time to support customer relationships and in-person engagements.

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

  • Serves as primary point of contact for inbound coaching leads, conducting timely discovery calls and managing prospects through the full sales cycle
  • Partners closely with the Coaching Supervisor to prioritize, distribute, and close leads from all pipeline sources including Clarion Sales Specialist referrals and automated channels
  • Conducts discovery calls (30-60 minutes) with prospective customers to assess needs and recommend appropriate coaching programs and other cross-selling opportunities
  • Maintains data integrity in CRM, updating records daily and advancing leads through pipeline stages accurately
  • Qualifies leads and collects pertinent information from Territory Representatives and customers to ensure thorough, accurate lead records
  • Closes coaching deals and documents outcomes consistently in CRM
  • Builds pipeline views and reporting to support leadership visibility into sales activity and conversion
  • Travels to customer sites, regional meetings, and events - up to 25% of the time
  • Facilitates meetings with Regional Sales teams to educate them on coaching programs and drive referral engagement
  • Triages department communications including group email and voicemail, escalating to the Coaching Supervisor when appropriate
  • Effectively communicates (reads, writes, and speaks) English
  • Complies with all policies and standards to support the efficient operations of the department and company
  • Performs other duties as assigned
