Job Description
The Process Engineer 3 will play a crucial role in driving process development and line support for new product introductions. They will lead from the DFM stage to line decommission, ensuring efficient and effective production processes. This role is integral to the company's success, as it involves a range of responsibilities from capacity studies to equipment specification and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • New product planning, Introduction, trials preparation and documentation
  • Production capacity studies, line layouts, cycle time studies, processing cost studies
  • Process Design and development
  • Prototype and Design validation testing
  • New equipment specification development, installation and training
  • New equipment budgetary planning, quotation, procurement, and project management
  • Production lines support and Flow Soldering improvement activities
  • Manufacturing manual process automation (vision guided robotics and others)
  • Process improvement and machine optimization as well as process optimization
  • Product defects root cause analysis, investigation and countermeasure development
  • Create and Maintain process documentation (PFMEA, PCS, Process Flows, policies, etc.) in support of IATF certifications
  • Other responsibilities as required

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
  • Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplined cross-functional team in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to successfully manage several tasks or projects at once
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 10%
  • Willingness to work periodic overtime, as required
  • Possess and demonstrate excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think 'outside the box' and develop clever, unique solutions to problems

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute new product introductions, including trials and documentation.
  • Conduct production capacity studies and line layout designs.
  • Develop and validate processes for new products and prototypes.
  • Specify, install, and provide training on new equipment.
  • Manage budgetary planning, quotations, and procurement for capital projects.
  • Support production lines and improve flow soldering processes.
  • Automate manufacturing manual processes using robotics and vision systems.
  • Analyze product defects, investigate root causes, and develop countermeasures.
  • Create and maintain process documentation to support IATF certifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing project requirements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%).
