This position is responsible for loading packaging into and maintaining the flow of the “denester” machine while maintaining compliance with all company policies and governmental regulations. This position will also assist the Processing Grader Lead with other projects and duties as needed.Position Responsibilities:Prepare work area with paper towels, packaging, trash cans, and any other needed suppliesSet Up denester machine for specified cartons/flatsFill denester chutes with specified cartons/flatsEnsure denester machine continues running for each lane by removing jammed materials, such as cartons or eggsRecognize visual cues from the machine’s service screens and address issues, such as double cartons, missing eggs, jammed material, etc., to ensure the machine continues running efficientlyCommunicate with lead, and packers to discuss any issuesClean broken eggs from the machine and floorRecognize various labels (written in English)Help other team members as needed throughout the dayPut away materials and clean-up work area at the end of dayRequirements: (knowledge, experience, skills, education)Must be able to recognize and match labelsMust demonstrate attention to detailsMust be able to work at a fast-pace, walk, stand, and complete repetitive tasks extended time periodsMust be available to be scheduled for work 7 days a week including holidaysMust be clocked in and ready to work at scheduled start timesMust be able to stay until eggs have completely run out of housesWork shift may vary and extend past a normal 8 hour work day or end before 8 hours in a day.About Opal Foods: Opal Foods formed in 2014 and is a partnership between Rose Acre Farms and Weaver Brothers.
